Service scope

Removal of corrosion, old coatings and contaminants to achieve the required substrate cleanliness and profile.

  • Removal of rust and degraded coatings
  • Preparation for reliable coating adhesion
  • Abrasive selection matched to material and specification
Applications

Assets and components this service is designed for.

For removing corrosion, degraded coatings and contamination, and for creating a substrate suited to the following protection system.

01

Steel structures, railings, supports and industrial equipment

02

Tanks, vessels, pipes and pipe components

03

Metal components requiring further protection or finishing

Our method

A clear process. A controlled result.

01

Technical review

We define the substrate, service conditions, scope and required outcome.

02

Substrate preparation

The surface is prepared using a process matched to the material and protection system.

03

System application

Layers are applied under control, in line with the project specification and technical documentation.

04

Inspection

We check the completed condition and prepare the project for handover.

System selection

The solution starts with evidence, not assumptions.

The process and abrasive are selected for the material, initial condition and requirements of the coating that follows.

  1. 01Material and existing coating or corrosion condition
  2. 02Required surface cleanliness and profile
  3. 03Requirements of the following primer or coating system
  4. 04Workshop or on-site work, access and environmental containment
Quality control

A controlled process from substrate to final coat.

The objective is not only a visually clean surface, but a consistent substrate suited to the specified coating. Inspection scope is defined by the project and the next system requirements.

Common questions
Are sandblasting and shot blasting the same?

Both are abrasive processes, but they differ in media, equipment and application. The choice depends on the component and required result.

Can abrasive blasting be carried out on site?

Yes, where access, safety and dust and abrasive containment conditions are suitable. Workshop processing is the alternative.
